The GIRL EFFECT.....Educate a girl and you change a village!
It’s important to educate girls because of the ripple effect. Girls graduate and start businesses. They become respected leaders and create social change. They educate their children, and poverty decreases. Educating girls positively shifts the economic future of their communities.
To bring awareness to this gender disparity, since the age of 14, Chloe has been performing to sponsor a girl to attend the Rwamagana Leader's School in eastern Rwanda. It's a secondary school whose mission is to create future leaders in environmental sustainability and social change.
Then in 2020, and in partnership with Community First Credit Union, she launched “The Girl Effect - Scholarship" which provides two Sonoma County entrepreneurial senior girls with $2500 college scholarships. Deadline to apply is April 1st each year.
